High bounce — what to do
If the panel shows a bounce rate above about 5% for the week, review your list or audience filter. High bounce hurts future delivery.
What it means
- Bounce = the email did not arrive (invalid address, full mailbox, provider rejection).
- Invalid (hard) = address that should not be emailed again until fixed.
- Temporary (soft) = short-lived issue (full mailbox, busy server).
Practical steps
- On the Dashboard, open the Attention alert (or the red bounce KPI).
- For invalid emails, use View flagged list and remove or fix those contacts.
- On the last send, open undelivered recipients (
status=bounced). - Before the next CSV import, clean the file — see Import contacts.
- Review deliverability basics.
